Great family show from the glory days of classic TV. This was better than anything I've seen on network TV in at least 10 years. Would love to see more like this.
During his monologue, Jack mentions the show was in color but this version is black & white.
The Beach Boys were not stoned, just bad actors. In the first part of the show, they sing California Girls live to track because it's part of a sketch. In the second half of the show they perform Barbara Ann live.

A really great historical piece. Typical Bob Hope and Jack Benny humour - which, as usual, is very funny.
However, the Beach Boys coame across as being very dull and almost not all there. They obviously didn't perform live and sang to a prerding?
The Mary Poppins parady was reasonably funny. Very typical Jack Benny ending.

Footage of Walt DIsney one year before his death
... along with some very stoned Beach Boys and a very funny Bob Hope and a very beautiful Elke Sommer.

Plays fine in Media Payer Classic also. Must be something to do with the way VLC handles files.

will only play in windows media player
this plays sound only in VLC, and IA's deriver isn't able to make a flash movie from the original file (to show on the page). but it does work if you play it in windows media player.
